Operating for over 40 years, the HOTI Hotel group, which owns several Melia hotels in Portugal, is a benchmark in the provision of hotel services, with connections to several high-profile enterprises in Portugal and abroad.
Because each of the Melia hotels has its own unique content, tourist attractions and target audience, the idea was to reinforce each identity, highlighting the singular characteristics of each hotel and a more strategic marketing drive for the different target audiences.
Through WordPress, we implemented and restructured all the websites of the Melia chain of hotels, redesigning them for a single visual and guiding layout for the users. The platform chosen allows cohesion among all the websites, facilitates the management and monitoring of the content and makes the navigation much more intuitive. Online booking was made possible by integrating the Booking Engine. The end result enables each website to highlight the singular concept of the hotel in question, as well as its amenities, services and the key tourist attractions of the region.
In terms of digital marketing, we implemented a plan to boost the online presence through Google Ads, Google Display and the promotion of posts on Facebook and Instagram. The demographics were assessed in terms of customer types, which resulted in each website developing a tailor-made strategy for the different target audiences and improving the positioning of each Melia hotel in the search engines.
