The branding process tells the story of the brand by highlighting the attributes, values, and its objectives. Through a set of elements such as visual identity,

The Editory Collection Hotels is the new brand of Sonae Capital Hotels that will represent the company’s hotels in Portugal and which signals the start of a new era. After 35 years of experience in the hotel sector, the new brand signals the repositioning of the hotels with a unique and differentiated offer. The company entrusted us with the challenge of implementing in the digital environment the experience that is intended to be transversal in all touch-points.

We carried out the design and development of the solution using the Umbraco platform and focusing on the UX & UI, making sure the users have an immersive and intuitive navigation, in which the mobile solutions are prioritised. The new structure reflects the artistic and aesthetic sensibility of this new concept. For the consumer, the experience provided by The Editory Collection starts with its website.

The entire structure of the website was planned as a digital business card for the Group and the different hotels. The hotels were split into two collections, with strategic offers and concepts for different target audiences: The Editory, a collection of hotels with their own, distinctive concept and a visual outlook that emphasises their singularity; and the By The Editory, a more general collection, where the atmosphere of the destination speaks for itself. In addition to the collections, some topical areas have been added, such as the blog (focused on generating traffic and tourist promotion) and the media room (facilitating access by the press to new content and news about the brand).

Multilingual and aiming for direct bookings, the new The Editory Collection website is a more robust solution that celebrates the philosophy behind which the brand has always positioned itself. This new approach aims to offer its users the best tourist experience, with a more refined and distinctive refurbishment, inspired by contemporary design, without neglecting the navigation functionalities that are essential for conversion. The final result will amaze the consumers and encourage them to go on an immersive journey towards booking their next stay.
